SoftSuede®

For the look and feel of suede, the Paramount® headrail is available in eight SoftSuede® colors. SoftSuede® combines the strength of metal and the soft, luxurious look and feel of suede into a unique finish.

PermaClear® Groover

For those who want the softness of fabric with an added degree of privacy, temperature control and energy savings, groover inserts are the perfect solution. The groover is a vinyl louver with clear channels on both edges that hold the fabric. The vertical fabric vane slides into the channels on the groover so that the fabric is facing the room inside and the neutral or coordinating back of the groover faces outside.

The Hunter Douglas PermaClear® groover is guaranteed to stay clear forever, with a patented clear edge that will never crack or yellow. Our groovers are also stable in ultraviolet light, so your fabric verticals will continue to look new, year after year. Hunter Douglas provides the premium PermaClear® groover for all its custom vertical blinds.

Valance Options

A valance is an easy and beautiful way to add the finishing touch to your vertical blinds or any other window fashion. The Hunter Douglas Innerstyle® Collection of custom vertical blinds offers three beautiful options in fabric and vinyl valances -- each custom made to fit the window treatments you select for your home.

The Custom Valance Collection

The Masquerade Custom Valance collection consists of 16 decorative color trims available in both single and double-tiered valance styles. Choose from marble tones, woods, metallics or solids. You're sure to find a Masquerade valance that will put a fashionable and finishing touch to your new window treatment.

•	Single-Tiered -- Masquerade single-tiered valances create a finished effect that stylizes the entire window treatment in an elegant way.
•	Double-Tiered -- Masquerade double-tiered valances add even greater dimension and a very sophisticated touch to your window treatment, perfect for more formal settings.

Dust Cover Valances

Our Dust Cover Valance is a full dust cover that is available with round, open or closed corners.

•	Adds privacy by blocking outside light from filtering into room
•	Protects fabrics by keeping dirt and dust away
•	Can be used with a variety of insert options in fabric, vinyl, aluminum and wallpaper
•	Is available with a classic double or single-tiered valance for vertical blinds

PermaTilt® Wand Control System for Paramount® Track System

The PermaTilt® Wand Control System is an optional upgrade from the standard chain tassel and cord tensioner combination. PermaTilt® is an innovative, single, easy-to-use unit used to traverse and rotate vanes. The wand provides both traverse and rotational vane control, so there's never a question about which chain or cord to pull. PermaTilt® is available in 30" or 60" lengths.

Design Coordinates

Pleated Shades
Set just the right mood with pleated shade fabric that gently softens light and lends a warm glow to any room. The Innerstyle® Collection 'Summer Linen' fabric verticals coordinate with the Hunter Douglas pleated shade collection. Choose from sheer to semi-opaque fabric and add privacy to room-darkening effects with 'Twilight' or 'Subdue' backings. Choose 'Subdue' to keep the light out and the romance in. Or use 'Twilight' with another fabric for a more private feeling. Our fabrics with backings or metallization help keep out heat and cold and they're able to withstand the brightest sun and help you protect your carpets and other furnishings from fading.

Horizontal Blinds
For many windows Hunter Douglas horizontal blinds are a terrific choice with a wide array of options in color, texture, design and, most importantly, in privacy and light control. An elegant complement to your vertical blinds, horizontal blinds are available in the following finishes: bronze, pearlized and perforated.

Speciality Systems

Innovative Curved Track

Hunter Douglas Vertical Specialty Systems are innovative tracks that offer unparalleled flexibility in handling curves, slopes and other challenging window shapes. Now, for the first time, vertical blinds can rotate and traverse in arches, bay windows, angled installations and combinations of all three. The specially designed headrail has a tilt shaft with interlocking components, allowing operation in angles up to 55° and curves with a radius as small as 25 3/4".

Vertical blinds are an outstanding choice for window coverings. They traverse as easily as draperies, open fully, close tightly and rotate 180 degrees. The vertical surfaces shed dirt and dust naturally, and they are easy to clean. Verticals also provide excellent energy control; they reduce heat transmission, block solar heat gain and resist heat loss. Hunter Douglas vertical blinds are tested thoroughly to make sure they can stand up to the toughest conditions; they are bombarded with ultraviolet light, burned by intense heat, soaked with moisture and scoured with chemicals to ensure they deliver a lasting performance.

Ideal For Specialty Windows

Whereas other window covering products are limited in their operation, Hunter Douglas Vertical Specialty Systems are designed to meet the challenge of specialty shapes such as arches, bay windows, and angled windows.

   •   ARCHES -- Vertical Specialty Systems can handle arches with ease. Blinds stack to the point at which vanes are longest.

   •   BAYS -- For bay windows, or circular spaces, the Vertical Specialty Systems provide a smooth curve. Vanes stack left, right, center or with a split draw.

   •   COMBINATIONS -- The new specialty systems track works beautifully for windows that are a combination of shapes, such as curved/straight or straight/angled. Vanes stack to the highest point.

Sophisticated Operation

Hunter Douglas Vertical Specialty Systems offer the ultimate in options for operation. For manual operation, with polyester cord for traversing and bead chain for rotation.
Options for motorization include a wall switch; infrared remote control; a central control unit for multi-panel installations that also permits local operation for a single blind or a group of blinds; and a timer that automatically rotates and traverses to control light and privacy.
